10 hours of learning....

the governing principle in all cases where heat can be generated can be understood by the laws of thermodynamics.
I am not a geek......just think about all such situations and you will get an answer through those laws.

Unconditional love is the most difficult to give ......and in fact most difficult to get.

Newton governs us through his law of inertia. We know what we want , we know how to....but we do not. It is the initial inertia that determines the friction to be seen in the future.

The difference between theory and practical is meek but most of the people tend to forget that.

Never to wear a kurta for an interview and after that wonder what went wrong?

Sell your knowledge but not yourself.

Misunderstandings start due to lack of meaningful communication. Even your most innocent and true statement can be received in a wrong manner.

People do not want to trust the others.
The huge number of cases of depression that are coming up are a testimony to that.

Your actions and your looks make your first impression but that doesn't mean you compromise on YOU.

Good things happen to good people.
Happy things happen to happy people.
strong things happen to weak people.

Big things happen in smallest of ways.

Entropy(randomness) is the biggest problem in the universe.

You have to make a beginning.

It is difficult to ask for forgiveness but most of the times big things come with difficulty.

All the people in the world are not like you . and if you cannot transform your closest people as you want them....how can you transform the whole world?

The I factor in the world is growing..but iam not sure of that.....

The things i post is not shit.

Mess food

There have been huge references to the quality of mess food in general...it needs no elaboration( though i have heard that a few mess' have nice reputation of the food that they serve.)

People who have seen me in the past 2 years have noticed me swelling to 34" to now having a waist that can put any girl to shame.....and so it sometimes does to me as well....... i am 28" and i wonder what i will be left when i leave this mess after 3 years.

But today , 6th of october 2007(and that is ought to be remembered) , when i went to the mess for dinner with my roommate i was able to notice a change in the menu.(noticing a change is a big thing because firstly whatever they make , it is all the same....and secondly we have become so habitual of the procedure of our meals that it doesnt make any difference to us what we are served. the reason for the change was a hunger strike that we people performed .....that became a default as we "were" on hunger strike for a week or so.....the food had been that nice....
)

it is a thing of wonder how something that i took for granted at home has become so important that iam writing a blog on that......but it has...

so today after seeing 'gobhi ki sabzee and pourie' , when i filled my plate with 10 pouries my room mate was aghasted...

when i walked down the column where my batchmates were sitting they were wonder struck what had happened to me.....
and so was I...somewhat.....

and it was today.....for the first time in 1 year and 2 months and 16 days that i liked mess food for the first time....

it will feel nice to go to sleep on full stomach!!!

Apprehension

well before reading further just guess what this will be for.....apprehensions about my future?my life?my career???

well now i'll try to act a little 'geeky'....

the apprehension is about GOOGLE...

the company going private and growing into becoming the default page of most of the people...(iam referring to countries like spain --- 99%search traffic being through google....same being the case with India).

from being just a search engine to becoming a part of every netizen....in some way or the other, it is an integral part of our lives.

in the past year i have become so dependant on google that i have told my roommate several times that instead of having normal exams we should have open-google exams.

i use their talk servers.
i use their blogging facility.
i use their search facility.
i use their social-networking facility.
i use their vedio sharing facility.
i use their photo-sharing facility.
i use their google-earth.(and wonder what's google mars?????but google space sounds exciting).
i use google desktop.
i know a bit about google labs, google spreadsheets...............( i dont want to tax my memory to fill the entire page.)

the point i am making is that it's all over.
and the newest areas where it is coming is 'digital library' ,'entertainment','media','radio(now that was freaky)' and yes magazines...

iam not saying that currently its not like everybody's best friend....it helps us in some way or the other....always being around...
but then i have had a few arguments with my roommate on this.....
imagine one morning you get to know google has started to charge you for every search that you make.

for every packet you send through their servers...be it from talk,you-tube,vedios,earth etc etc.
(then how worse is MS????....it charges me for all the services it provides...sorry linux fans....and yes windows is much easier...the way google is).
i'll not talk about all that data that they store to streamline your search or all the cookies that they store(i recollect it is 21 years!!!).....because then they can be legally charged.
but yes imagine that you have to ask google to read some book.....???

as soon as i have to search something i type google(which is missplelt) and yet it magically opens google. and even if google charges money my fingers will involuntarily type GOOGLE.....
google works on the 80-20principle (and thats the most attractive thing about google)..........
but google has worked its magic so that their customers defy the same.
